a sorc or cabbie are by far the best solo classes, a buffed hero can make a necro go oop if they have IP and moose up. there is nothing you can do vs 300-350 damage life tap every second. take away buff bots and they are still better. an unbuffed necro is just walking RPs.

That's a very dangerous attitude to have; it sounds like you are willing to use radar yourself just to level the playing field. (Oh, and how ironic to combine the words "fair play" and "radar" in the same sentence.)

Well, I think we can conclude that it's becoming less a matter of skill to win a 1 on 1.

Turgon has shademode, FZ, phaseshift and IP.. so when he got all his instas up, which he usually has when i meet him, there's no chance of winning. He's good ofcourse, but it's not very hard to be good when you have acces to these overpowered abilities.

Zoia has been around for ages. Managed to get RR5 when she was a bluecon if I recall correctly. I must've fought her like a 1000 times and I can definately say that she's a good skald. Even before the age of ToA she managed to be a pain in the ass to 3 grouped enemies by her skilled play.

Moral of the story I guess, can't ever compare these 2 players Even though Turgon does a nice job atm, he started to be active in the age where skalds are pretty overpowered where as Zoia has been around for ages and has proven to be a tough skald all along.



P.S Not meant to flame Turgon btw, at all. He keeps killing people, so he must do something good Even though I found it a bit crappy that you added on me and Layla when we were taking up Tiamath and Myztic and that you IP-d and jumped the amg wall when you started to loose

P.S2 Funny how people accuse both Turgon and Alzheimers of using radar. I was beginning to ask myself how it was possible that they always get the amount of deathspam they get. Then again... maybe in Alzheimers case, that's just because he camps htk odin 15 hours a day and the other 9 hours he adds on <synergy> fights

I was accused on IRC for Radar after I killed people at the liches in Odins, they wondered how the hell I knew they were there ... right.

I don't say radar is fair, it isn't, so don't use it. But too many people do use it. I should have let this thread be and disappear among the other whine posts really, didn't knew Freddys existed until someone said I got a post here....

Oh yes, the laugh is really on you when you got your back turned at me sprinting away hoping i wont agro or throw my weap at u so u cant speed up.

And why should I slam you when the grapple is 100% chance, and slam is 50% or less. And oh, alz didn't moc on you, you however insta mezzed me(i purged) - zephyred alz - so i grappled. That's the story line, then a NS added on us and tried to take me out, when he couldn't you ran. It was a fun fight imo, shame you don't feel the same.

How would you know if Turgon is better than Zoia, you don't play Alb or Hib afaik?

You don't have to be a alb or hib to know if Zoia or Turgon is good, I used to duo alot with Zoia so I know he is damn good, also I know Rulke is good.

Skalds overpowered ? And Rulke had his skald when Zoia was a blue con, not sure who of them started playing skalds first, but that does not really matter. And in my opinion you can't decide who's best of 2 soloers. Sometimes I play good and sometimes I don't, so you can't see whoever is best because you have fought Zoia and Turgon some few times.
