A question Once thee ( and i mean of of the best RA ) SoS RA comes into action in Patch 1.51 Will you ..

(A) Play more within a Group and help your fellow Albions With Speed and also i must add and a Great RA that they so badly need ...

Or
(B) Camp around the Small Tower in Briefine / Gorge and take all the RPs for yourself and feel happy that you are a RP whore that does not help anyone but yourself within game ...

PS and i mean Albions come on how many Rps does your 2nd in the RP list Speed Merchant get you ?

Sheesj why can't people let others play the way they want? So many people make up moral rules for this game that justify their own playing style. And every time someone goes against those rules -> get pissed and flame them. Nobody is served by this kind of behavior.

Lol@Nicky...i went on holiday to the gorge yesterday, followed by collory, the reason i did this was because emain was v quiet at the time so i decided to go on a lil adventure, and i must say it was quite a profitable adventure...started at crim, worked towards bolg, then across to the gorge, then back and down to collory...quite what this has to do with "not helping my realm", im not too sure =), but it sure as hell was fun.

On the side note of "not helping my realm" when im in emain ill do my best at helping to clear the walls in a wall fight, or even getting behind the enemy and mezing as many as possible when albions charge, if there is no time to mez then ill take out the biggest threats first. eg. bards or casters. All this i see as being helpfull, if not more so than playing a mana battery to a grp of 8 people participating in a wall fight. If i can give anyone an edge in a fight then i do it...often ends up in me getting killed for doing so as i expose myself and get targeted out very quickly, but it often helps albions win a fight.

Ive seen many posts from you on these boards regarding minstrels, maybe your a minstrel racist...who knows= ) I may even find myself having to recommend you go see MA (Minstrels annonymous)

p.s damn forgot to answer your question...A) when its needed and B) when i want to.

Yes i am but you are the only good one in this game and a good player i post about .Things will change ingame and you will never be able to kill me 1 V 1 once i get my Aoe Instas.....


Now that has given you something to think about ..I so much look forward to you using your new skill to try and kill good Bards 1 v 1 one we get that mezz and i reckon you will not be able unless its a Zerg or my 10 min Timer is used BRING IT ON M8 ..

@Nicky I've been playing a friends minstrel account on a US server, and ive had quite a few encounters with bards...yes your right, you are tuff to kill one vs one, but there are several things that can happen to change the outcome..Firstly i might resist your mez, secondly if there are ANY low conn mobs near by i either charm or attack one before fight (after my mez) to aid me in getting out of your mez =)...also purge and like you said...timers.

Like i said its not easy to stop you from getting away, but it's quite possible if one of the above happens

Personally im looking forward to the Realm Abilities coming in, because it will bring new ideas, playstyles and tactics to the RvR scene which is starting to get a bit worn atm, and i know with see hidden in etc i will have a harder time keeping my rogueish butt vertical.

Moral of the story : There is more than one way to skin a cat (or bard in this case)

Perhaps when Mythic changes the army tables so that slash is an ultra gimpy choice for a rogue, you'll be able to beat him even easier!

I have a question for alpha after running into him tonight :

How the hell can you hit that hard whit a 1h weapon ?

I would like to know what your specc is , weapons , str ect . i never come close 2 that .

And do you use a buff bot ?

Elrohir: Alpha has probably around 160 unbuffed STR, and low qui due to being highlander. he will have base+speccd str buffs and haste (buffbot in PK), causing him to hit abnormally hard for a minstrel. probably around 260 buffed STR and haste. also due to realm rank his skill in Slash will be higher than usual. I would imagine he has +14 bonus to blades.

to be honest he hits like a complete weed DDs do 100 on me each, and he hits for something like 50/60 per swing. Get 20%+ slash resist and body resist , and alpha wont hurt at all.

Speed of sound is on a 30min timer anyway, and you have to use it BEFORE being mezzed/rooted. It's not like there's a cast animation for an insta, is there.... can't look at bard casting his insta, then hit SoS... no no, you just get an insta in the face and then you're stuffed
