FAO alb stealthers saturday mornin....

all who know me know as well that ive never posted a whine thread or whined excessiveley in irc! U also know the ingame attitude i have and that i the times i have zerged someone(***** excluded) are counted in the fingers of a single palm! Today i have met the worst attitude on my char in the 3years i play this game! i played 5hours straight getting zerged in every run and on top of it every target that i came even close on killing did his best to flee even though he added on an ongoing fight even though 4 ppl were hitting me on the same time! still i refused to group and i refused to start a zerg even though i counted 12 stealthers on me on a run at amg!!! after those 5hours of gang bang i decided to be as lame as them and i got 20k rps out of it and b4 that time i had made only 7!
i know that these things are familiar to everyone but my point is, that there is no way for me to make rps by keeping up my current gameplay since every target that i pick flees! so what my options? quit game or start beeing as lame as other ppl are to me!

since u that overrun emain ruining every fight that u see with the excuse of roleplaying are not even men enough to finish the fights that u open!

Lately i have been duo/trio or grouping more than i solo, which can be great fun too, but sometimes i want to solo.
Unfortunately it often makes me more frustrated and angry then i'm having fun.
I'm stubborn though, so i still do it, but not nearly as much as i used to.
I also hope NF will make it a little better than it is now.

It's no fun getting jumped and zephyred by 3-5 stealthers, all with SoM up, and some with equal RR as me.

So, as u played alb: did u continuously solo run into Feinar/Kenwolf/Macmep/random 4th SB nowadays?... or any of the other groups at mmg?

more than 4 runs, believe me.
If it gets too much, I ll just log or play different chars caus i cant change it anyway.../shrug.

Thanks god for NF tho... as many bads it might have.. 1 thing will change for sure and that is the bottlenecks at milegates... many many spots where u can position yourself for action without running into the same zerg over and over again.... at least thats what i hope its gonna be.

a) like I said before, all the people who get pissed off with the stealth zerg. When you duo with your buddy do you let solo'ers live. Answer is no. You say.... "Your only duo'ing its not a zerg!" or "You leave people you know solo but you kill someone solo if you remeber the name from adding on you before." etcetcetc

Tag teaming a soloer is no different to getting zerged, its just differnt ratio's of the same thing. And that is being out numbered.

b) People dont give a fuck and just play, if that means being a FG of stealthers if they want or running solo if they want, then thats what they are going to do. You will consider this irrelavent to your arguement, but this is the reality of it tbh

c) Zerging encourages Zerging.

End of the day you solo because you want to solo. This isnt the way daoc was intended to be played, and its frustrating (try playing a hunter at amg for a week though if you want frustration)

We all been in the same place as you, pissed off with trying to play when you just get blown away but the zerg, but theres nothing that can be done.

btw your gonna fooking hate NF. you may get zerged at the moment but 99% of the time you will get zergged in the form of adds after you open. In NF you gonna get zergged in the form of arrows poping you followed by insta death.

we (myself aloca vipr) all used to solo (still do sometimes). We got more pissed off with the state of stealth rvr on this server than you did. Hence PM was formed.

We mainly stay away from the MG's and camp the routes peeps travel on. All the alb and mid "solo" zerg (and they still consider themselves solo'er with 20 other stealthers in the area all adding in unisen at the MG's) literally get mullered and feed us RP. We dont care if we kill solo'ers tbh, they all just enemies in the game and the point of RVR is to kill them.

and when you all play together on TS and are organised its great fun, and part of the challenge is escaping all the FG's and non stealth zergs (and radar paltburger beeliner ***** whos names I cannot say without ban)

a) facing a duo is a challenge even if u die by a duo u always keep on trying to kill at least one of them, i even attacked ur 3 way today cause of that challenge its not the same thing with 12 freaking stealthers camping one spot and strategicaly using ts in everything it comes near! where is the challenge in that? who will stay alive for more than 5 mins? even in morning rvr when i camp atk and chain lowbies i dont kill the same ppl for 5hours even when they are rez ill!! and u are wrong about the solo ganging cause there are only 3 ppl in this server that i will not let them finish their fights b4 i jump them! i have even let group mates die because of ppl i think they deserve a fairplay!!
the difference between u and me is that u found the ur missing fun after ur 2 years of roughness by making PM well after 3 years of roughness i dont think i will find my missing fun in something similar but ill try it i assure u, mebbe run a 5man rr8+ group to see how challenging will it be to kill soloers or how strategiacaly we will use ts to find the eagle or gryphon group that are trying to get an rp or 2!!

concluding u are right about the ppl play as they want and exactly thats the reason im quiting daoc soon because the game is not skillz vs skillz anymore its mass vs mass a new definition of fun it seems and since i cant join the mass or compete it ill be leaving soon!!

When you duo soloers it pisses them off - so they go get 2-3 friends and smack your ass. you then get pissed off and bring a grp etc etc etc
