Original thread starter: Ungracious & Ungrateful come to mind. :twak:

What you said, what I read.....

To any GM that reads here *wave*.

We Hiblets on Prydwen have had a small issue for about 2 weeks now regarding our e-peens (that being that they're small as fuck and by the final jerk the trolls just sit in a circle and laugh - and this has been experienced around 5 or 6 times).

So this is a request since getting a GM in game when you need them is some what... impossible. So: Jun 1st (tomorrow) im leading yet *another* attempt at it starting from 7pm GMT.

Those coming on the raid would appreciate it if a GM could bring themselves to ensure that either:

a) the encounter has been reset by then
or
b) a GM is online to witness the animist and bot soloing the encounter; so that should it fuck up, [oh how i refrained from a nasty comment here.. well partially at least] the problem can be corrected.

I would 'rightnow it' if i had any intelligence, wasn't practicing to be on social benefits for my entire life, and didnt feel the need to practise my grammar for June's standard-grades. So consider this a plea. We (me and my bot - my rl friend) are thoroughly pissed off with doing everythign right, and then getting 'owned' by some Hibby bug!

Gotta agree. Love his Attitude - Rude when asking for help, doesn't bother saying thanks. Nice guy :wanker:

The fact remains: it bugged (as i said it would, even though the charms were run the exact way a GM told the charm runner to the previous day (when it worked with success for his group)). When we originally tried to raise the GM that was in office till '11pm CET' we couldn't. Infact, to start with there wasn't even an E&E on.

Admittedly i couldve created a thread with a little more faith, and a little more self control, and less attitude. But it was a damn sight milder than my first draft. And having been thoroughly wound up with 2-3 hours of wasted raid time in the past on the encounter with bugs occuring then, and no GM around to rectify the issue. I feel i was entitle to voice my anger about an award winning lack of ingame support.

Now admittedly, i feel marginally corrected, and Requiel went out of his way to fix it (even though half the BG had left, and we was lucky to get it done, but when its all said - we got it done which is the main thing, and that is entirely thanks to Requeil 'unbugging' samut).

If i recall from the PM we had last night before my PC crashed; Requiel actually said that getting the charms to the correct spot without them forming up at the wrong area is a known bug, hence, i feel i was right in actually asking for support to be available at the time of the raid (even if i did put it in a loveably ignorant asshole of a way).

On top of this, GM's seem to have conflicting views on the correct way of doing the encounter so that it does not bug. Yet it's been done both ways. and still bugged.

But penultimately, i can't complain. Requiel unbugged it. The support was there, and the raid ended up being a success.

So here it is:

Thank you Requiel for logging on from home; and personally seeing to it that the encounter was made possible. You turned a very annoyed BG into a mildy happy one. And also restored a small amount of my faith that should a problem arise; there is actually a possibility to get help.

Now that's SO much better...

And your chances of getting into Heaven have just gone up too... everyone's a winner...

... except Satan...

... who's possibly lost a soul as a result of your turn-around...

... but then he plays a Whorelock, so he gets no sympathy from me.

No way to stop this bugging at all.

Can't even do raids without needing a GM.

Thanks Requiel for unbugging it but could you please try and get this hotfixed asap?

I believe Req mentioned in his initial post that it is something that has been reported to Mythic and we need to wait for a fix from them... all we can do at this point is keep nudging them until they send us the fix at which point it will get applied asap! Believe me we don't like these things causing problems any more than the rest of you (likely less as we're the ones who get yelled at for it)

Well yea; sorry for flying of the handle. Was just mightilly annoyed at the turn of events (not cause i couldn't get the arti; am merely running raids for it). But the bug is annoying.

So if a GM sneaks one last peak back in here;

7pm GMT Monday 6th; Tuesday 7th; and Wednesday 8th,

Im leading my final 3 attempts at it before i take a break from events in a lame attempt to focus on me coursework.

If you could let me know whether a GM will be available on them nights it would be great; i also hope that there will be some E&E's on to grab you if this is the case. On top of that; should a GM wish to appear and watch the proceedings and experiment with any settings/methods when running charms to the 'beach' area. Those attending would be more than happy to act as guinea pigs (seeing as there will be a GM there to assist if anything doesn't go as planned)
