Best player gets 3 bonus points, 2nd best 2 points, 3rd best 1 point. Each side has 3 best players in each game iirc.

Each game has bonus points awarded based on the OPTA stats the players get in the match. Then 3, 2 and 1 point are given to the top 3 players as bonus points. If there are ties you can end up with more people with 3, 2 or 1 points. E.g. 2x 3 point + 1x 2 or 1x3, 3x2, 0x1.

I spunked my wildcard far too early last season, never again until I absolutely *have* to. If I can I'll wait until Jan and then use the extra wildcard for the run-in if required.

Would you hang fire if you had a midfield with Carrick, Moses, Pilkington and Ramsey in? I can really see no negatives to getting that lot out

You could just take a 4 point hit and then use your normal transfer, that would rid you of two...depending on cost of replacements ofc.
