erm, i'm not sure if the 1.49 patch means you don't need the cd to play, or just for dedicated servers... surely there's a 'patch' out there somewhere ??

1.49 is for Dedicated servers only. And I wouldn't mention any other way of getting No-CD here, though Operation Flashpoint is the certainly the most protected game I have ever encountered.
