fake a drive?

Like Alcohol, but for hard discs - how?

I have a bit of software that wants to install to c:\ , trouble is that my drive is e:\

Is there a bit of software that can create a fake C drive, so it will install?

Could you not just create a partition labelled c?

Or just change the assignments in Computer Management ?

I found an easier method, an old DOS command called subst
