Once got a fish bone stuck in the back of my throat on a plane. It was actually stuck in the flesh like a splinter. I had to borrow some tweezers of a stewy because my throat was swelling up and making it difficult to breathe. It took me 30 mins in the plane loo, they had an doctor waiting for me when I got off to rush me to the examination room. I think they were shitting it in case I took then to court.

The worst food in the entire world is olives. Closely followed by that pickle shite they give in Indian restuarants in an earnest attempt to kill you. Olives and indian evil pickle thing make me retch, which is highly amusing for everyone else when I accidently stumble across them. First time I went for a meal with Kenny's family, evil indian pickle was the first thing I ate, and I promptly started balking like a cat with a furball. I'm sure they were really impressed.

My own personal opinion is that olives are poisonous, but we've just built up an intolerance which is why they don't kill us anymore. But they will. One day. When we're least expecting it.

I don't like cakes. Never have done. Jacket potatos are rank, and I've tried eating oysters but my throat just refuses to let me swallow them, and i end up having to spit them back out again. Peanut butter makes me feel ill, as does coconut ice, but thats my own fault for being a greedy biffer when I was younger, and over doing it.

I have to agree, I love the freshly made pizza here at work but 95% of them have fecking olives on them. And its the same with sliced tomatoes and sweetcorn, I cannot stand them, yet the world is a totally tomato-slice and liberal sprinklings of sweetcorn kind of place.

Interestly, near my workplace is a Japanese "conveyor belt" sushi bar, you sit at the bar like normal Japanese restaurants, and there is a little moving track in front of you loaded up with dishes of all sorts, you take your pick and the waitress adds up the plates at the end, the food is freshly made and very yummy. I'm not a big fan of sushi but that place is excellent.

Also, referring to the original post, was that not the subject of a Ben Elton routine ("but it was _only_ a sausage") ?

Partially raw. They are alot clammier than when cooked. Still tasted ok, for the brief time before Kenny grabbed the plate and threw it in the microwave.

I often have a jar of Olives just to snack on.

The Lime Pickle in the Curry house in Selby I sometimes go to = teh yum too. Most Indian Pickles I'm indifferent to. Too sweet sometimes but edible. I usually prefer onions with my poppadoms.

Sliced Tomato on Pizza = teh yum.

Fish Finger sarnies = teh yum.

Bacon Sarnies = teh yum.

Brussel Sprouts = teh yum (with gravy).

In fact the only thing I remember being mentioned that I don't like is sweetcorn. Not too keen but I'd eat it if hungry.
