I signed up on facebook about a year ago.. received lots of stupid app requests with friends wanting to bite me, compare movies, compare friends, compare dicks.. i don't know.. it all seemed extremely stupid to me - so I tried to quit my account only to find out that i couldn't. You have to call or email Facebook staff and specifically ask them to delete your account. And they "can't" do that that either, unless you completely delete all traces of yourself from facebook - yes that means all messages you wrote, all pictures, everthing. For some people I imagine that would be an impossible task.

So... good luck with that! I'm at least glad i never posted more than 3-4 messages and no pics of myself.
