I don't use Facebook much and made the stupid mistake of clicking a link a guild mate posted. 99% of the time I ignore links, but this looked like a picture so I did not know it would take me out of Facebooks domain.

What it's done is loaded up a fairly blank page http://secret hookup . net which has then posted the same link on my wall.

A few mates have also fallen for this trick.

What I wanted to know is how/where I go to find permissions for apps. I am doing a full AV scan etc on my pc, but I get the impression this is either a one off spam link, or possibly an app.

I looked in Account and Privacy but could not find anything. Aaaagggess ago you used to be able to tell apps such as Farmville "Do not post messages". However I can't find anything like this, so have no way of knowing if I can block further posts etc.

you have to go to Privacy settings, at the bottom of a page there is a "Apps and websites" section where you can remove apps

its annoying that they keep moving around where this feature is making it difficult to find >.<

Cheers Ormorof. I found that the other day and it did not show any dodgy entries. Was only 4.

I noticed all the people who clicked the link (thus reposted) had it removed off their page at the same time. After questioning them they did not even realise it reposted on their wall. Facebook must have done a mass delete.
