So I've put up with it crashing every day but now it refuses to write a CD.

So my CD-Rw is a Lite-on LTR-24103S and I've not had any problems with nero or anything.

Running XP

So anyone got any ideas why it's refusing. The error is "unknown error 4300" or something like that.

It's also the lastest version (4.7 I think).

Not 100% sure, but you could try telling it to burn at a slower speed (24x rather than "Maximum", say). This has fixed some other errors I've had when burning from it. Not had any other crashes, though, so not 100% if that'll fix this problem.

Aye, tried that got 16 tracks through an 18 track CD and spat the CD out.

I've looked around and it might be a previous version of nero that's the problem which is unmitigated shite and apple deserve to be fucking kicked in if that's the problem
