External Hard Drive not showing up..

Bought a cheapy HHD Player that doubles as an external hard drive, has to be formatted in FAT32 mode, then you can usually dump movies etc onto it and play them thru the tv n stuff - tis most handy, but the hard drive I was using to test it worked packed in, so bought a new 160gb HD, stuck it in, formatted it, and now it doesnt show up in the My Computer panel so I can't locate it to copy files over to it, it makes the usual beep noise when you connect it to a USB etc and says connecting, the PC even see's it to format it, but I can't get the f*****ng thing to show up in My Computer...

Tried updating drivers etc but nothing seems to work, at a loss now...

HELP !!

Ah ignore me - mods delete this if you want, figured it out, hadn't partitioned the drive before formatting it, or some such noodle.
