I want to export a (fucking big) DFS directory structure - just the folders, not the files, to a txt file for importing to excel in a meaningful fashion.

Anyone know of any freeware tools that accomplish this without crashing/are pretty good etc? :)

BTW - if you know of one that allows you to limit how far down the folder structure it looks...

Yeah. But I don't want it to go on forever which, with the size of this directory structure, it will :(

Ta anyway :)

But if you want the whole structure won't it need to? Or are you wanting to say 1st x levels down only?

Yeah, just the first 4 levels down :)

I've had requests like this in every contract I've had as well - so it'd be nice to just sit back, click on "old reliable" and let it do its thang.

Looking at your tool now old bean. Thanks :)
