China's an amazing country. Its fecking huge tho. If you lived 100 years you'd never see it all. Some splendid scenery. Have heard some scary stuff about the state police there....could just be the usual internet bollocks. Probably safe if you just do the tourist things. Go way off the beaten track & I guess you gotta make quadruple sure all your papers are in order & one of you speaks Cantonese.
