The rules:

People are cast out via voting.
Majority votes needed.
General rules of werewolf games(no taking it out of thread etc, no "night" posting)

The game will advance in two stages; Voting(day) and PM(night).

EVERYONE is equal meaning there are no "roles".

During the PM phase; you PM me the person you THINK will be voted out.
During Voting phase; You discuss, plot and so forth, vote who you want.

The persons who, during PM phase, guessed for the right guy, get to hang around.
Those who didn't PM the guy who got voted off, well...

Winner(s) are those who are left alive.

You can send a PM with your own name. So you can bet against yourself.

The person who gets voted off does not necessarily die.

To clarify;

You send me a PM during "no talkie" time with the persons name you THINK will be voted off next.
You vote for the guy during Voting, aka "talkie" phase. Bold: name
Those who PMd me the same name who gets voted off, survive.

Ok? Good.

The game will start when the people have sent me their first PM.

I'll accept some "rule clarification" questions until the game starts, i'll be clear when it does, after that, general rules apply.

Going to give an example of what MIGHT happen to clarify;

Player A PMs me with player B name.

If player B is voted off(in tallking phase), player A survives.

If player C is voted off(in talking phase), player A...well

Also, to clarify;

Deadlines will become effective after a while.
No vote is a possibility, but you can't PM a no vote choice. If you miss the deadline to send in your PM, your only choice to move to next round is a novote really. Not a good choice

Those who don't report in will be marked down as "no lynch".

sigh. toht not everyone checks the forums daily, or notices threads. tbh I only click on this by accident, I thought it was still in the collect names stage. You can be difficult about it all you want, but it would make sense and get the game started properly.

Just to make mr ch3tan happy in the pants, i'll send the remaining people a pm then.

It starts properly when people read the thread and notice "oh, have to send PM". Which i ASSUMED people would do if they sign up for this. You yourself claimed these games get boring if people are inactive and, oh gee, three days before i set a deadline.

So make up your mind.

I guess that if someone votes 'no lynch' they are essentially committing suicide? I.e. by not naming the correct person, they will be ousted from the game?

If you vote for nolynch, you better hope everyone else does too.

The way it goes; the PM i get is the vote you think will go, if the person does go, good for you. If there's a difference in the name you guess and the person voted off, well.

No lynch is a different matter 'cause that basically means you all pansy out

((Ok, i believe that 3 days and half a day without a PM is enough, one person missing from the "registry", i'll see where the game is at that moment when he does PM back.

In other words; i'll make a judgement call on his PM if it's in acceptable limits.

Anyway, let the games begin!))

One by one, lights begin to flash in the ceiling and as your eyes adjusts, you see a rather distubring image. 12 contestants, tied to some form of upright "beds", all seeming rather confused on what the hell is going on.

You quickly realise that the only thing you can move is your lips and that something was very very wrong. You remember last night, but at some point, all went dark...

"Hello and welcome to paradise!"

The voice echoes from several loud speakers from the ceiling.

As you might notice, you all are now in a LOVELY position to make new friends...until you...well.

Your eyes focus on one of the contestants, nametag barely reading "old.Tohtori" as his whole body is basically a charred skeleton.

"I think you get the idea from our boney friend there.

Now! If you were so kind as to read eachothers nametags and give me a name you think will go next. Just whisper it to the mic next to your mouth. That's right."

You whisper a name you think will go first, how, who knows...just felt right at the moment.

"Very interesting. Now, if you would be so kind as to "discuss" amongst eachother who will go next so we can all get on with the show."

(Game begins, 6 votes needed for majority)

Exactly what I was thinking... so theoretically, if the person we voted for doesn't die, we do?

I have a sneaking suspicion that isn't how this is going to work and it's going to be a test to 'out' our initial votings to make things more interesting... otherwise this could end up being a very short game for most of the people here.

Yeah I don't think we're going to die necessarily if the person we whispered to our evil controller doesnt gets voted for, especially if everyone voted for a different person! There's definitely going to be some evil card up his sleeve i bet!
