Just a quickie.

Been hunting Hibside DF last few days (oh how i laughed when i saw Futurama's grave - returned the laugh spam at it heh) and was wondering about Exp deaths and the like.

I have no intention to cause exp deaths to people, or greys to be honest. im in this thing for the fun, not the gloating rights over pwning someone in 1hit <unless its a caster >

I just wanted to clarify it a little, as I admit I did wonder if I caused one last night.

1) enemy kills mob. has say..30% health remaining. I go in and finish him off. Exp death, I think, yes? So far avoided doing it.

2) enemy kills mob. has say ..30% health remaining. i wait until 60% health. go in and thwap it. Exp death? done it once or twice

3) pet class takes on a mob. pet gets reduced to 30%, caster untouched. I go in and take out caster. exp death? dont think it is, and done it a few times.

Must admit, the adrenaline rush of thwapping a guy behind a lvl 50 champions back and stealthing before he knows im there is damn good not to mention the same fg of mid 40's taht came and searched for me everytime i killed someone hehe

anyway, keep an eye out for the Prince of the Shadowed Night somewhere near you lot soonish

I'll be honest with you, I used to have concerns about killing people when they're XP'ing, but to be honest with you, after repeatedly telling my groups not to hit till the mob is down and being bah'd at (although to be honest, they listened to me) then having red con groups to me come up whilst I'm soloing, mezzing me, stunning me, and then dropping me whilst I fight a mob... I've kinda stopped trying to be honourable, after all, whats the point in being honourable when no one returns the favour?

My thoughts are starting to go the same way regarding relic raids... Both hib and alb players post "we ownz u" messages after our peak time RR attempts... yet we're still trying it... no congratulations for another valiant attempt, just kiddies thinking they've done well repelling an attack... which admittedly may be true... but consider the details.

anyhoo, someone said as beta came to the end "all honour stops now, you're enemies now, I'll kill you whereever I'm able." at the time, I thought that was lame, but tbh, I'm starting to see his point.

I used to xp out in the frontier a lot and guaranteed Durgi,Ayam, or one of the other forest fairies of pain and death would appear, if my pet had been fighting and only it had sustained hp loss it was never an xp death,just annoying.

I _think_ it goes something like this:

If the enemy you kill is below full health and has been down to 50% health or below and not healed up full since he will die an xp-death.

If you and a mob are at him at the same time and the one making the most damage will determine the outcome, but the circumstances above still are in play.
