Excell uegently needed

Help, my department boss is being gay and has given somthing i dont know how to do, so i need the help of the intelligent BW folks

Does anyone know how to format cells in Excel to show total time in this format 1d 1h 13m (1 day 1 hour 13 minutes)
so far i have got this far:
*dd"d" hh"h" mm"m"

but it keeps putting this in its place 01/01/1900 00:00:00 or it keeps thinking im trying to enter a date, but im trying to enter an elapsed time and its turing me into a wreck

Can't you just right click, format cells and do a custom?
