Hey guys, I'm sure the answer will be simple but this is really bugging me.

In Excel my computer used to open all spreadsheets in a new instance of Excel so they had their own tab at bottom of the screen. Some monkey who would have no idea what he would have done has changed this and they are all opening in the same one, it's taking me longer to do things now (although probably not as long as this post has taken). I'm sure I've just got to tick a box or something but I haven't found it and am slow today.

TIA,

Ben.

If you click on the excel tab on your fast bar at the bottom, does it pop up the names of open workbooks so you can then select one, or do you have to click it then select 'window' in excel itself?

The second one. Sorry should have said, it's Excel 2000.

Cheers,

Ben.

Ok - in Excel go to 'Tools', 'Options' and on the 'View' tab do you have 'Windows in Taskbar' selected? If not, tick it and try...
