Excel Graphs ughhh

After crashing excel many times and even resorting to the paper clip help, I think what I'm about to suggest can't be done, although I am no excel whiz so probably just missing something obvious

Take the image below:

The scatter graph at work will contain over 1000 + people and the graph shows points plotted over a diagonal trendline. However if I hover over a point it does not displayed the name of the person (in column A). Is there some way to make each point display the name of the person in this way?

Any help would be apperciated

hmm, if I do a row of names and random numbers, and select both as source for a scattergraph it works.

sequence1, point "andrew" (6; 903)

Tried that tdc but the x axis has to be "kph" and the y "tph".

aha I see mate. well, that's the limit of my excel know-how good luck then!
