Help Excel, Function help

I need some help with an Excel function. I need a cell to display a sum total but there is a limit to how much this total can be. The total of several cells is say 10,000,000 and can vary month by month (lets say 0-10,000,000) but the total figure allowed is 7,500,000. I would like the figure to display the total of several cells but only up to the maximum allowed, so if its 8,000.000 the function still reports 7,500,000 but if its say 5,000,000 it displays 5,000,000. I have been messing about with the IF function but I am not getting very far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Something like this?

=IF(SUM(E14:E25)>7500000,7500000,SUM(E14:E25))

=MIN(7500000, SUM(x:x))
