Anyone good with these stupid waterfall graphs? Need it for Excel 2013. We don't have latest version which does it all for you.
I have tried using the templates online but none seem to work properly.

Example data set below:

Start: +$200
Item1: +$20
Item2: -$50
Item3: -$80
Item4: -$130
Item5: +$10
End: -$30

The problem is that the online templates work if your end result is positive. But mine is negative.

Yes exactly!
I'm not getting that. The negatives go upwards not down.
they go down if the "end" is positive

That's the latest version though mate - I can't save backward compatible for you to edit the data set as the chart in support in the versions I could do that with... I'll share that anyway in case 2013 can open it...

I think I found a template file that does the job but can't get the negatives to be a diff colour as you have yours

Normally with old waterfall charts you have to colour them yourself ie click on the block and change the colour and line (if you right click these options should be available to you at the top of the options iirc, if not you can change them using fill function and line.

Yes that is what I have had to do unfortunately.
Was looking for something automatic to make it less error prone.
