how many times will Excalibur crash the first 24 hours it goes live ?

I say 31.... any takers on higher ?

well if the servers cant even work when ppl doing RR or 4.2 before they fixed it i guess it will crash twice as much as the US servers

Hundreds on hundreds or a hundred total?

and

150 total probably

Will the server get up again after the crash?
On Excal it's maybe 150 per realm, not total. (OK Albs might even be 200+)

Not everyone is as naive as you are - and thank the gods for that, or we'd never see any improvements whatsoever.

On a more serious note, GOA has very good servers, and Mythics servers crash more than GOA's.

it doesn't matter how often they crash, but they simply crash during large scale battles. Something what should be available in a MassiveMultiplayerORPG. Thats the bad thing about it.

Lol at the ppl who whine at goa servers.Trust me the US servers are far far worse.In US ive seen servers crash cus 100 ppl in emain, now if that was excal we would crash every night

NF will be miles more stable when it reaches us lot anyway. One of the advantages of being on Euro I guess is that the US Daoc peeps get to test the stuff for us.

Every expansion always has its rough launches, its natural for NF's one to go poorly. Mythic will spend the next few weeks optimising the servers for lag, bugs etc until things calm down.

US servers are much less populated than euro ones and yet they deisgn and implement their software by making feasibility studies with US figures.
All RvR people in one zone plus more serverload through additional calculations (new smart keep guards, ballistic calculations etc, etc) will play havoc with EU servers
