I would like the alb/s that wated 5 hours of my time today, by spying and using illegal gained ifno to ruid midgards relic raid/ To actually own up too it, cause a number of honourable albs have already told us they recieved prior warning and knowledge of our tactics before we arrived. So once we find out a name and shame campaign is going to begin. Every spy we find will get named here as well as reported to goa.. though they will do squat about it.
Your simply ruining alot of hard work by alot of people.. relic change hands live with it. Stop screwing people over and cheating and play the game like the rest of us.
As i did when i discovered a cross realm spy in midgard I reported it even though he was a friend and officer of my guild, i implore the gm's of Albion to take similar steps with cross-realm cheaters in your guilds as well.
All gm's of midgard have pretty agreed once we find the name of the spy here in midgard we will publically ostricise him. If i find such a cancer in my own guild I will most defeniately take issue with goa until he is permanently banned.

Just builded my ram inside when i saw like 40 albs lol great spying guys hope you feel uber now. We had a few hunters scouting excal all day almost and no albs near and suddenly when we attack 100 albs yeah right.
Hope we finding this f*cking spy and that he get banned and hope that i dont meet him in rl cause i beat the crap out of him.
For the rest gr8 job mids next time we get the relics.

Hib tryed atleast 10+ times to get relics back after we last had our relics but it's nearly impossible against realms that has 2x your numburs online
yes it's hard.. but it bring a challenge, the relic status on prydwen atm is sooooo booooring.

It was great fun to sneak in and put up rams on the inner door.../salute to Durgi for the idea. My job was to peel guards off the ram controllers and sure, I can do that against some NPC guards, but peeling a bunch of highlander gryphon knights proved to be a bit harder. They didnt respond very well to my taunt.

Your last wave of about 3fg mids wiped out about 30 albs near the mmg in HW. We released and went to Excal to pick up a group member. Imagine our surprise when we found 100+ mids just down the hill who were about to pull the relic keep guards.
No spying involved at all. We were just lucky to be at the right time and at the right place. In fact, we were talking in our frontier cg about what happened to the 3fg mids that went missing after they were reported near Boldiam. We also lost track of 3fg mids earlier and we were wondering if that was the same group or that the mids were perhaps preparing an assault on Excal or Renaris...

Hib ,Mid or Alb I find the cowardly approach of a SPY dispicable. Some people put alot of effort into arranging a RR, no matter what realm, and to have an idiot who decides to use their two accounts to "interupt" a RR absolutly deplorable. As I stated I dont care what realm.....SPIES ARE COWARDS....and no matter what realm ..if I find out their names I will make every effort to make their names public.

How m,any did it say we were? I counted about 50 of us attacking but you Albs would ahve got the numbers more accurately thru broadcast. We were all /anon so we couldn't do a /who.

Yes SPYing is bad and there should be a public [DAoC] stoneing of the person by all three realms [trolls ARE allowed to throw boulders].
Although i do not play albion aymore from what i read it seems it was a well thought out idea...i think alb had the same idea once by putting a ram on the INSIDE doors of a keep once..seems you guys took it a step further which is pretty good

I mean even if you used multiple staging points for each section of the raid isn't it possible that someone spotted them and put the totals togther and raised the alarm. Reason Hibs haven't tried more for relics is because:
a) Spies
b) The fact that the other two realms have the population to outnumber us at any time whereas we have to organise well in advance to ensure we get enough to even make an attempt
c) The time we did have a good chance the Alb server crashed and ruined it with no compensation from GOA also allowing the Albs a free repair of their very broken doors
d) Relic raid morale killed by the above
Any chance of gaining relics for underpopulated realms died in 1.60 thanks to the 3 rams per door rule, Hib could only relic raid by getting in and getting out extremely fast, that's now been taken out the game assumingly so that defending realms have chance to defend. The problem is, there's no way in hell we can handle the size of a defending realms defence force.
I'm pretty sure Hib will get /level 30 but judging by the amount of people moving to Mid on Excal and Pryd atm I'd guess that Mid will end up getting just as many new people as we will anyway, seems to be fotm realm and I don't think anything in 1.62 was enough to tempt people to come to Hib.
I think the only way we'll see relics any time again is if Mythic remove the dumb 3 rams per door rule, or do the logical thing and limit rams on size of population, i.e. Hib would be allowed 5 or 6 rams due to having roughly half the population of Mid/Alb.

Actually I was very suprised, we only had 3 rams on door 1 and it went down in maybe 2 minutes.

It is a good tactic, and a valid one. It was funny, I was only reading on IGN boards here about how they worked and low and behold up springs just this tactic!
Anyway, try again Mids, I hope it wasn't a spy tbh, but we all know there is some f*ck somewhere who spoils it for the other side.

From what I heard there was 3fg of Mids at HW and Albs lost them, another 3fg Mids ported to HW and Albs lost them and finally 3fg more of Mids ported to HW and wiped 30ish Alb. 3fg+3fg+3fg=9fg of Mids in our frontier or I'm I wrong if I say you ported in 3 or more waves and hide somewhere in Alb frontier? Knowing there is 9fg of Mids hiding somewhere is a bit suspicious
But if some honourable Albs have told there was a spy I'm sure they will say who that spy is. When I logged on Mids were already attacking Excal so I dont know what happened but like Alaron said, there was no prior warnings in /gu or Unity Alliance.

Well goign by what Alaron says and i quote

Sorry but i am tring to stay neutral in this as neither of the two realms i play [anymore]
So before people start getting the pitch-forks and lighting them fires..a little proof? i mean the Albs you go the word from that say they knew about the raid, could they be joking/confused about times. Could there ocne again have beena hint dropped in irc about the raid..its happened b4 with someone saying it by accident, or dropping a hint [without meaning to] taht there was something on. Maybe someone on excal said 'No i can't come to taht hunt i've got to be on prydwen at that time' which sparked a bit of interest in a pryd/alb in the group.
I mena these are all viable explanations for the fact albs turned up so quickly. They could have been heading off to cap a middy keep for all we know and were in CS about to port out when the middies @ excal were sighted.

I was one of the albs that got run over in hw was also in Alarons /cg. At one point I went looking for the missing mids to let everyone know where they were as we had only just took beno back but was unable to find them.
Maybe get the albs that told you they knew of the raid before hand to post here and tell who told them? I just hope this is not a case that your plan failed so you are just going to sling mud

Albs lost alot of 3fg's of mids in HW i was sent info from scouts players in HW so i raised alarm then with my guild no spies involved. Before u just conclusions they may well have been a spy and that sucks and should be removed from game but from comm's i had most raised teh alarm when we hada large number of missing mids.... no spying involved.

No one has proof of spies but I think what we are trying to say is if you know of anyone then shop them. Durgi has proved he will do this is the situations are reversed.

Yes Middies, you have to realise you are hitting Excalibur often and therefore the paranoia about losing even 3fgs og Mids makes me personally say relic raid over and over on guild chat and when the first deathspam begins many albs have alts logged in Excalibur and when it comes to Relics we albs defend ourselves with everything we got so i gotta say give some proof of spying, because you were spottet in HW and then we lost contact with 3fgs which meant they were going for relic or renaris it dosnt take an expert to figure that out
