Hi guys

Just to wish all those taking exams, or those who are going to later on this year, good luck :D

I myself have two tomorrow: intellectual property law and taxation law, 6.25hrs in total, over a 1,000 pages of principles, cases and statutes if I learnt the reading in the textbooks. If you pray, I'd appreciate a thought; if you don't, please start :)

Good luck to everyone :)

Kind Regards

Good luck Jonty (and others), you'll have no problems I'm sure.

I see the downside to employing students around these times. ;(

Good luck but I'm sure you'll breeze it. First year maths is fairly straight forward.

Good luck Jonty, learning cases can be a bitch ;)

What course/qualification is it you're doing to get landed with intellectual property and taxation exams?

Guessing its law :p

I had Economics, Management and Safety Resources on Saturday, was the biggest load of wank i have ever done. Got Digital Electronics on Friday, following Monday is Communications Engineering, then following Friday is Software Engineering, followed by a night out on the town with the Engineers!

my thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Quite funny being in the queue for a kebab, and the civil engineers are calculationg the stress properties of a ketchup packet.

Not necessarily; I did IP law as part of my Business & Management degree. I dropped tax law :p, but did employment and some contract.

Heh, what leggy said. The norm? What sort of prison-camp uni did you go to? :|

I am indeed studying law, Tilda :)

Hope everyone's exams go well, I count myself lucky I don't have do any on Saturdays nor any in "electric and magnetic fields ... and applied physics", hehe :)

Thanks for the good wishes.

Kind Regards

Half my exams last year were on a saturday, its just bad luck really. And you cant blame the uni for wanting to get through all the exams as quick as possible. I don't really mind doing an exam on a saturday since as its right in the middle of exam season anyway hardly any **** wants to go out and of course I'd be revising anyway (yeah...)
:)

I don't know whats worse really Jonty - having to learn thousands of laws and case studies supporting their enforcement and such or having to learn thousands of proofs and mathematical concepts. I'm damn sure which will make more money though ;)

fucking rich lawyers :(

lol, I love that Brynn :D I've studied Mediæval History and saw the tapestry so it's particularly apt :)

As for me being a lawyer, TdC, I shall indeed endeavor to fight for justice, defend people's honour, end world poverty, that kind of thing ;)

I'm with you, Tilda, I wasn't a fan of contract either ('obligations' as it was taught). That said, if you don't mind working insane hours in the city a week (Working Time Directive aside) then you can make a fortune if you're the best. Just a shame those people are so busy earning it they don't have tend to spend it, hehe ;)

Anyway, back on topic, good luck (again) to those taking exams.

Kind Regards
