Has anyone used this? Heard of it? It's so you can watch BBC i player outside the UK. Installed it last weekend and wondered if there was anything I should be aware of. A downside to it?

Heard of it, never had cause to use it, never heard of any issues.

Tried to d/l it and it just hangs at 99% complete. I play with these proxy service things all the time; what I really need is a proxy for parts of my network (PS3, Telly) and not for other parts (PC). I'm sure its doable, but I have to set something up in such a way that the missus doesn't have to learn Networking For Dummies every time she wants to watch iPlayer.

its shit, full of popups and disruptive adverts and really unreliable. i could use it for a short while, on holiday or so, but as i live abroad i've paid for a proper service (around £10 a month) and it's worth every penny.

Agree with Aoami, adverts are a real pain in the ass. Living in Oz I use UKVPN think it's 6gbp per month, it's not the fastest (1mb I think) but good enough

Agree adverts and pop ups a nightmare. Have found it useful since I got it but am usually in the uk. So don't need a permanent thing.
