Moving back to my Laptop...

Evensham don't do P4-M at the moment, though I shall keep an eye out.
They do offer "Athlon 4" Mobility CPUs though. Also nicely affordable

I think they go up "1500" but I have no idea if this is rated like the Athlon XP or in Mhz like Athlon 1s????

Are they a good alternative. I've been using a Duron 800 in this box since I've had it and never had a problem, so I've nothing against AMD, but once again power guzzling concerns seep through..

and AMD XP1500 means it will be as good probably better than a P4 1.5Ghz

AMD XP are much better these days, should be ok

The P4s look nice. Hopefully they will use P4-Ms by the time I buy.

It seems that Athlon 4s use the same branding as the XP. Sadly they all seem to come with Shared Memory graphics cards rather than the ATi mobiles :/
