You wake up and check your watch, see your a couple minutes late so you throw your clothes on, grab a glass of orange juice and get out the door, leg it to the bus stop and just catch the bus....then you check your watch again, and realise your an hour early....oh yes, im one tired person :(

i dont start untill 8, i have been here since 6:30, and the canteen does not open untill 7, lol i spose a greasy fry up is the only good thing to come of this.

Any of you guys done something similar?

Well, i woke up at 7 today, because somehow the low beep from my mobil phone when i recieve a message, was enough to wake me. At first I were pissed because i woke 50 mins before i had to, but when i read the message, which told that our lecturer was ill, and he had cancelled the class, i relieve a small fart in pure pleasure xD

Usually the other way round.

Wake up 8 am, think its 5am, have a double-take, check clock again realise its 9:30am and I'm an hour late already for work !

Have devised solution: Have two alarm clocks - both must be set to maximum volume, synchronised so that both alarms go off same time. Set both clocks opposite ends of room as far from bed as possible - so you have to get OUT of bed to turn em off. Snooze function is spit from the devil's anus.

heh, during my time in the army I had to get up at 5:00am to be there in time, wasn't used to getting up -that- early at the time.
Powercut reset my alarmclock, just turned the alarm back on when the power was restored and went to bed tired as hell. Alarm goes off, get into the uniform etc, start making some coffee. Then got asked what the hell I'm doing at midnight in the kitchen :p

lol aw bahu,

f it makes you feel any better ive gone for an afternoon nap, woken up at 5pm but thought it was 5am to see my bf sat at the pc and ive said (in a very plaintive cry) "why are you up? whats going on? I DONT UNDERSTAAAAND!!".

Or when i was younger and had gone out for a night on the lash i'd got ratted come home zonked out and woken up at seven, thought to myself "oh well done you sodding donut, you get one day off and youve just slept through it, you cock!!" gone to the kitchen made "dinner" and sat down to watch the evening news and GMTV was on, i'd slept so deeply i thought i'd slept through a whole day but only been asleep for about 4 hours lol.

I had to move my alarm clock so i could not reach it woithout leaving bed as i used to shut it up and fall back asleep.
The two things i hate are wakinging up busting for a piss 15 minutes befor you have to get up as this is a lose lose situation get up and you will never get anymore presious sleep befor the alrm gose off, or roll over and hope to ignoe it for 15 minutes, again no good sleep to be found here.
The second is forgeting to turn your alarm off so it wakes you up on Saturday morning you wake up strech have a scratch then realise wtf! you have ruined good sleep with getting up :( But the there is the sweat joy of saying FU alarm clock and going back to bed :)

Used to work a 6am-6pm shift and would still never be able to get to sleep until midnight. My solution was 3 alarm clocks.

The first was my mobile phone alarm which gives off a rendition of 'cockle doodle doo!' but that rarely ever woke me up as I had it lying next to me ;)

5 Minutes later an alarm clock across the room would let off a very deep and annoying single note which wouldn't stop until you pressed sleep. The idea was that the walk to it to turn it off would easily wake me up. The problem was that I knew a third alarm clock was coming 5 minutes later so I generally went back to bed to wait for that :D

My final alarm clock was an air raid siren. Well actually it was an air raid siren at the beginning of a song but ever since having that as my final alarm clock, the sound of one sends shivers down my spine... The good thing about the piece of music was that if I wasn't woken by that, the song just got louder and louder :D

Guaranteed with those 10 minutes of screwing about with 3 alarms I'd be well and truly awake, ready for work :) Never missed a day.

Edit : Nerf this silly smilies limit :/ 4 is ridiculous.

Never done that but I've been at school at a saturday before or sunday just cos I forgot it was weekend.

Also, one morning I woke up with a lot of sounds around me of which I didn't know its origin, which is usually the case with me every morning, but this time I spent 30 minutes looking at my stereo's remote control what it was, what all those buttons did and how the fuck I was supposed to turn down that noise with that thing cos non of the buttons appeared to be working. (no wonder if it's not the stereo making the noise :D)
