This convoy has been there since a long time so the chances they play a role in the event are small i think.

While sat crafting at the forge in TNN, Sir Carmu broadcast that he needed 'Defenders of Hibernia' to gather in the throne room. There he told us that the slave that was freed was wandering near Connla, afraid and alone. We were asked to find him and ask him about Spraggon Den.
After some searching he was found, freed slave was his name and he was indeed afraid, but after much reassurance he relaxed and told us about how his people were captured, enslaved and that he needed our help to free his brethren from their chains.
I asked him to follow me, and off we all went to Spraggon Den. Along the way he told us that he was born in slavery and that he would like to be called Fred so we told him that was great, and from then he was known as Fred the slave.
Lots of fighting and killing later and we had released the slaves from Spraggon Den, and in the little room near the pit (the one to the right of the entrance) Fred discovered a tunnel which we all entered and appeared in the Koalinth Caverns (zone promptly crashed). A brave slave collapsed the tunnel behind us, losing his life in the process, and we proceeded to free the people of Tir Urphost.
Fred was very happy and went back to his people, the Vesten, so that they could rejoice in their new found freedom, and the rest of us made our way back to TNN to talk to Sir Carmu. Sir Carmu was very greatful and said that a great deed had been done. He was going to reward us all from the Royal Treasury, but many of the party said there was no need, freeing the slaves was reward enough, so he gave each guild 100g, and bowed to that guild's representative.
All in all a fun event, and I get the feeling these slavers will not be happy

Still the part where the furies are is not cleared and no spraggonish spawns can be found. Maybe the den is bugged or the furies are - or simply we just need to kill them again.

Seems many missed the storyevent again
However this morning a group of 7 cleared the rest of Spraggon Den. So it's clear now, but the original code is not in yet, so except for worms and rocks there are no spraggons yet.
If someone can send me some screenshots (mIRC) i can put them on the event webby....

Because some of us play the game for fun?
If it has been yet another item hunt then it would have been as boring as hell imo. You want a new spear, go gank legion.
