I'd retire and go live in Calafornia/Orange County, buy a big house buy a private jet and so on, just have the life of a king.

I would give a million to each of my mates... that would leave me with about £70 million.
£5 million to my mum and dad. £65 million.
£5 million to cancer research. £60 million.
£1/2 million buy a nice house. £58 million.
£50,000 BMW M3. £57,950,000.
£2,000 new computer.

I'd prolly just sit on the rest and invest it, or stick it in the bank and let the interest tick over. It would probably ruin my life though.

I'd emigrate to Vancouver (long term plan anyway, extra cash would just speed it up), would set up a lan cafe/gaming cafe and possibly expand it into a chain.
Would buy a nice house, fully customised ofc with entertainment suites, specialised computer rooms, a couple of nice cars etc etc.

I'd also make sure that my family and friends were sorted, doing exactly what they wanted to do (but not just dossing), enough cash to put their kids through Uni, and cash in trust funds that they can get when they get to a certain age etc.

I'd invest several million into research for IC so that maybe one day they can find a decent treatment and my life and those of other sufferers isn't a small hell every day.

I'd set up a charity to help people get started in life from places like where I grew up.

After all that I'd imagine I'd still have about 30 million left, so would travel the world, try absolutely everything that I'm capable of, learn to surf, learn to ski, buy a yacht!

I'd invest all the cash I wouldn't be using at the time, which would still bring in a good income etc

First I would get out of this sh*thole of a country, we are taxed to death and get ripped off on everything we buy. I wouldn't give my family much cash as such but I would make sure they never wanted for anything ever again, I think you run the risk of ruining other peoples lives when you give them insane amounts of cash. I knew a guy who was given £100,000 by his brother after he won the football pools and he ended up spending the whole lot partying and snorting cocaine in under a year, one night a few months after the money was gone he ended up driving his car into the central reservation of the motorway when he was pissed up and smashed off his tits, he died but thankfully took no one else with him. I certainly wouldn't want that for any of my friends or family and you would be suprised how many people end up doing drugs or taking stupid just because they can't think of anything else to do when they have so much money they don't need to work.

Anyway, back to what I was saying at the start. I would buy a house on every continent but I would probably make my main home on the island of Capri. I would travel extensively and visit all the places I have ever dreamed of, experience all those cultures and learn everything I could. Of course after a few years I am sure that would become tiresome and I would want to settle down, I am not sure I would start a family though as I don't think the world is a great place to be bringing new born children into right now. In the end I think I would end up as an excentric millionaire with an 18 year old wife when I am 70.

You can get a much better return than 5% per annum when you put £100 million into a long term savings account but yes, that amount of interest per annum is insane. Any normal person with an IQ over 100 would be hard pushed to blow that amount of money every year unless they are into all that 'bling-bling' bullshit.

I've thought about winning the lottery numerous times, who hasn't
Hence I have some sort of plan if I won a million euros or more.

I would buy an apartment here in Tampere (Fin), which would be around 100 square meters. That would do fine, and I couldn't even imagine moving to another country as I have lived abroad quite enough. It's utter bullshit that other countries are somehow better, and yet everyone seems to want to leave.
Anyway...

That would probably set me back 2-300,000 euros.

Next I'd order a 2006 BMW M5, straight from Germany using their BMW Individual service which lets you choose the smallest of details. The car would be practically completely metallic black, with just about all the nicest extras. This would probably end up costing somewhere at the likes of 150,000 euros.

Then, finally I'd go wandering around the world for some months time. I'd visit the countries/cities I have lived in during my life and see some friends while there. Finally I'd visit the US for the first time in my life. For this trip I'd have everything arragend so that all I really need is my passport, wallet and phone.

5. Redraft my will.

There's only 3 things on a purely selfish level I'd want to do
(1) Go to Hawaii and see the volcanos and rainforests
(2) Go to New Zealand
(3) Fly at the edge of earths atmosphere in a jet. Look down - see the globe. Look up - see the blackness of space.

I've always imagined of getting one if I had the sums of money it requires.
One little problem though, you wouldn't get one anyway. They are only making some 300+ of them and I doubt you'd be on their priority list.

VW loses 3,5 million with each car, so I'd say the people who do get one are very well selected.

Lol, do you know the easiest way to lose £100 million is to invest in an already overinflated stock market? Seriously, one big terrorist attack could trigger another black monday and wipe out your investment over night. Bonds and banks, that is where your money is safest. Don't play the markets unless you are prepared to be burnt
