Euro Key, USA Client --->>> Euro Server

Hi there

Are there any steps I can follow to direct my USA client to a Euro server...

And do I need any weird patches or need to edit any files and change server ip's? If so .... what are the Ip's I need

Well the US ver is still 1.2.1.......
The EU ver is now 1.2.3.....
dont think the new patch will update the us client, i know the beta 1.2.2 didnt work on us client.
also you would need to change the realmlist.wft to point to eu instead of us
change us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com to eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

just do like I did, make a backup folder of the US client... go down and buy the EU client and install it... this way if you decide to play again on the US servers all you have to do is rename your directories

my euro/uk client is in the post... cant install it yet...

I have discovered that the USA client works fine for the moment too...

I suspect there will be a few bugs, but I can handle that until it arrives.. just changed the us.logon bit as lostsoul recommends
