And it does suck, the frontpage was changed cos people couldn't find all the forums & now forums are being hidden within forums. Logically that's a step backwards. Now on top though the View New Posts thing is already screwed up by DAoC (its gay Trebz, you know its gay, stop it being gay or put up the Crimbo stuff) so its a pain in the arse to find threads in the tucked away forums.

Fair point about the forum front page though. I've only looked at it using the 'Forum Jump' drop-down list and it seems fine in there - lays out the sub-forums nicely. Maybe rejigging the front page is the key?

Having browsed around the new layout it's clear that the regulars should have a place of their own, maybe invite only or something because nearly every serious or semi serious post desends into childish sillyness or spammage or both.

As far as I see it, in the general forum, everything is fair game. I have my ignore list for people who get on my nerves (a Who's on ignore thread could be interesting), and if people want a more serious response, there is normally a more suitable forum somewhere else.
