Ok, could somebody please explain what the hell has happened to my Camelot.exe?

Tried to download the ToA.exe from camelot-europe but.. the link is down.
So i copied the one on my laptop to my desktop.

I ctd'd, then a small patch, then this
Game still runs ok tho.

Really cba reinstalling. Any idea's which file is corrupt? :x
Help!

check the "run complete file check" which does pretty much the same thing as reinstalling, itl replace any messed up files but it takes a while

Update:

Now whenever i start the .exe it just sits hogging 99% of my cpu, but other than that, does bugger all. Gonna have to reinstall anyway :x Still a pretty fooked up thing tho Oo

do you have a "languages" folder? If you do, delete it and run the patcher again. See what happens.

Very odd, but I have to ask why you are installing it from another machine and not from the original CDs?

Uninstall, reinstall, run patcher and you should be normal again, dont use downloaded versions, just the CDs (hope you aint ebayed )

No, im the orignal Nee :touch:

I have 3 computers, one of which is a laptop. all networked together. The only machine that will run the toa cd's is the laptop. The others just cant read past the toa copy protect system. (Might want to address this GOA, I mean, why bother protecting them at all? You need a unique key anyway? Oo)

Altho the reason i dragged the camelot exe across was to see if that was the file that was corrupted.. it wasnt Oo

But basically i have to do a network install everytime i want to reinstall.. much ball ache :x


For the record tho, i decided to reformat.. because it seemed like a good time to do it. So altho i no longer need advice on fixing the problem, feel free to mock me for the problem i had.. i think its kinda cool, if not annoying :x
