Ericssons and connectivity

Basically, my computers being fucking gay.

Tried to connect my phone to my PC today as usual, first thing that pops up for no reason at all is "Unknown device connected". so i've been messing around trying all the drivers off the PC suite CD to solve it, and the ericsson still shows up in my USB devices, but because of this niggle I cant actually access it.

ARGH!

Any help?

It just magically fixed itself.

The lead in my Dad's phone needs to be pushed in, in order for it to be found by the computer or you need to slightly bend the connector that goes in the phone, it's seems to be a pretty common problem. His is a Sony Ericsson K750i.

My old SE used to do that alot when it happens i just went to device manager and deleted all the USB devices tha were connected Windows then refound it as a phone and it was ok.

Has happened occasionally with my old W900, just reconnected and it worked fine. My w950 has been lovely so far
