There's a new movie - swords / sorcery / dragons genre called Eragon coming out. Just saw the trailer on imdb. Looks pretty naff and predictable.

Anyone seen it ?

afaik swords and sourcery films have to be cheesy and predictible, i think its a law of nature or something.

top s&s films!!

-Krull
-red sonja
-conan's
-legend (or leg end lol)
-would you call the princess bride swords and sourcery? if so then that.
-there was a cartoon movie donkeys years ago with dungeons and dragons type stuff that rocked.

cant think of any more but theres gotta be loads tbh, most of the good stuff came out in the 70's-80's though. modern attempts at s&s just dont work sadly :(

My all time favourite: Excalibur

Cheesy 80's: The Sword and the Sorceror

Epic: Lord of the Rings trilogy
