1:Again... nothing to do with "point killer" but you said you disliked it because they were so shallow with the review. There was no review which makes the point invalid in itself, not because i say so.

2:Yes, the show works 10 times better when you are fan, since you get the jokes. And personally i didn't find it hard to get into.

3:I disagree on the "shabbines" they have a script they go through to make sure they get to what they need, i think what you think off as shabby i look at as personal. The show is not a parroting of simple facts and figures, they discuss their often very different views on those facts and figures aswell.

The rest of your post is just a "this side" view to my points, gonna comment on these. Though the comment about "using the language they normally use", is valid but also a negative side if you don't like that sort of awesome bombardment.

1: Stop arguing the word, as i said, it was the wrong word. The "commentary" if you will for heavenly sword was only an "oohaah" and they told nothing about it. Just like listening to a fan at a convention, provided nothing.

2: If you need to be a fan to enjoy the show, the show isn't THAT good, is a downside and you know it.

3: If they have a script, from what i've seen, they do a f*ck all job of following it. Example: #122.2, it takes nearly 40 minutes to start a game and all they do for the time is run about, try to get the game setup, throw in a couple of speculations on top of speculations and basically the first (over) half of the show is the thing they should've done BEFORE the show.

I'm not trying to convince Toht to watch it, he is a big boy, and can figure out what he likes on his own. And he is not trying to get me to stop watching.
But a discussion about critiques i find unwarranted is fine

You don't have to be a fan to start watching, however the show gets better once you are familiar with the hosts and the jokes. And like i said, i found it very easy to get into it as an outsider.

agree that sometimes they are about slow in getting to what they proclaim to be the actual show topic. But i never find that it is useless waiting they do until then.
And remember they do this for an hour every day, even something like David Letterman sometimes has shows where a big part of the show just becomes a chat between him and Paul for example.
That is where having watched the show before comes into play. That what they are talking about might actually interest you, rather than bore you.

Most shows are best when you are familiar with the cast, Epileptic Gaming is no different.

Oh, I never gave my opinion on this.... Crappy and annoying. If I wanted a real game review I'd watch/read G4TV as it's generally funnier, a more professional setup and two proper hosts.

It has PROPER reviews/previews and pissing around (in moderation) but isn't full of swearing.

That was judging a clip and judging a show in different places.

I judged that the clip was bad, because it actually repeleld me from the show. No clip and just link would've worked better in this case.

I said i couldn't judge the whole show, 'cause i couldn't.

It's two different judgings.

It's not the worst show around, and it somehow peeves me just the "wrong" way, but i'll give it this...it's a waste of time, but as such, good way to waste time.
