Ok, i've mentioned this briefly in a few posts. But now i'm spreading to those who have no idea this show exists.

A 1 hour a day show, devoted to gaming and wider gaming culture. Reviews, general discussion, recomendations, funny shit, warnings about shitty games etc. A Good group of really passionate guys talking videogames every weekday at midnight UK time, other euros.
djWHEAT, djRoME, Kam-ra and World Famous Robert Summa talks gaming for, and with you.

Depends on what you define fits as. Epileptic seizures, no. Fits of rage, sometimes. Rants, most definately.

Show is called Epileptic Gaming, because of the warning on the back on games saying that prolonged playing with no breaks may result in epileptic seizures.

I would go watch an episode, but like i said, that clip pretty much destroyed any interest to do so. Also, i was judging the clip, not the whole show.

So be it, you are cheating yourself out of a great source for videogames, because of a two and a half minute clip. Believe it or not, a big part of the fans say they found the show by having watched the little vids, thought; "Who the fuck are these retards?" and watched a show to see what it was all about.

Yes i know i know, it's no big budget, but it's like listening to two guys talking about their favorite games etc. Like having a camera in someones living room basically, and it just, well, doesn't appeal to me at all. Just too poor to give anything about games.

Only + i can give those guys is doing the piece on whorecraft, but that's just 'cause the pirate booty episode was class fun.

Actually there is 4, sometimes 5 guys. And they talk about all games, not just the ones they like. This show rapes any other show, podcast etc there is.

And the Heavenly Sword bit... isn't a review dude. It's a view of a gametrailer/teaser and their initial reactions to the graphics.
Heavenly Sword is realeased. September 12, 2007 So a review would have been pretty impossible like 3 months back... Looks like you completely misunderstood what this snippet was.

Want a review? Go look at their last review. Bioshock, 70 min review with 3 different people who beat the game chime in. That's a review. There is no reviews in the clip you saw.

The show is good for many reasons, 1; They know what the fuck they are talking about. They have all been in gaming since it became a viable past time.
djWHEAT is a professional commentator in pro gaming leagues and events, and has a history as a pro gamer in quake.
Robert Summa is a pro game journalist who gets alot of insight into industry.
RoME is more of a casual gamer/tech geek voice, his personallity varies with Kam-RA's so that people can learn what kind of gamers they are, so when they talk about and/or review games, people can weight their gamer types opinion higher.

They do to all the major gaming events around, been in China, Denmark,Sweden, Korea, Germany and all around the US.

Their reviews are opinionated, and unlike most game sites, who play for 2 hours, then review the game without any real merit to it. They make sure they know what the fuck they are reviewing.

They do some funny shit, their personallities go well together. As for gay references.. internal joke you wouldn't understand unless you watch the show. Saying fuck, so what? i say fuck alot, the use of fuck doesn't make your points less valid or you less intelligent.

They are very interactive, they appreciate their viewers and let them voice their opinions during the show.

They guide people who doesn't have all day to read gaming sites through the videogame chaos.
Put you on the games they feel should be watched out for, and warn you about the games that fall through.

They are really in debt about why the like or dislike a game.

That is just some of the reasons i feel this is the best show ever.

Yes, the show works 10 times better when you are fan, since you get the jokes. And personally i didn't find it hard to get into.

I disagree on the "shabbines" they have a script they go through to make sure they get to what they need, i think what you think off as shabby i look at as personal. The show is not a parroting of simple facts and figures, they discuss their often very different views on those facts and figures aswell.

As for the reviews, i wouldn't say biased but opinionated. And that is what is so great about it, i know which of them reminds me most of myself as a gamer, i've realised that the games this dude likes and gives good scores have also been games i enjoyed. and that is why they usually have multiple reviewers.. because people are different.

As for the language, these guys use the language they normally, because it's how a large portion of gamers speak. You might not.. but you'd be surprised. I see no amateur'ish in the show, simply casual.
When he commentates, djWHEAT wears a four figure suit and uses his vocabulary to it's fullest. He simply choose to relax and enjoy himself more during the show.

Yes, the internet is full of people who CLAIM they know what they are talking about.
These guys has proved to me, again and again that they unlike most others, actual do know what the fuck they talk about. And if they are wrong, which happens to everyone. They have viewers who are industry insiders and work in whatever area they a discussing. Who will call in and correct them, so they get all the facts straight, then continue.
What you must realise is both the host and viewers are an eclectic bunch. WHEAT is a PS3 fanboy, Force is the most non-biased person in the world basicly. They never hide the fact that they are being fanboys, if they are being so during a show.
Videogames are largely about taste aswell, so a completely objective review is completely useless.. since it'll be non-existant. Everyone has prefferences, and they will shine through whether you want them too or now, when talking about how a game is.

See you are not wrong, say someone finds the show a fantastic experience. The next time i come out and say; "Check this out, i really enjoy this" and Toht says "I don't like it, waste of time" That person will most likely listen to me, due to my taste being closer to his.

And vice versa, if someone really doesn't like the show, the next time i put something up. They will probably listen to Toht since they are closer to his taste.

This is more important with games, since you might have to pay 40£ for that game to find out for yourself.
