Oh, that is odd.
You don't think most rvr groups do try that setup?
Still get ganked silly by Mids...
And against some decent rvr Hib guilds you will die, while the remaining Hib guilds that go rvr will be a decent fight.
That group is not wtfpwn at all. It is one of the 2 options Albion has to bring a half decent, small chance to win, group to the rvr scene.

I never said it is 'wtfpwn all', but you can't deny it's a proper group. Tbh I hardly see groups like this, the ammount of times I see groups without sorc, mincer, or cleric run out of apk is insane. Armsmen leading groups- what the fuck?
The guilds that do field groups like this (FC, AD, etc) do well, there's no denying that. And TB- a proper setup mage group does well too. So what are you whining about?
Oh I forgot, you play a gay scout that is blind to see he's not gimped at all, so he just adds on the zerg or fg vs fg fights.

The way rvr is at the moment is that an rvr active person in Albion makes about 1/3rd the rp's that an rvr active Hib or Mid is.
Certainly some rvr guilds in Albion do well, but that is only with all their ra's etc up, and not fucking about.
Mid and Hib groups can afford to fuck up, or have some ra's down.
It is fact, has nothing to do with being an Alb.
I hardly played my scout, I was playing my minstrel most of the time.
And again, stop running over me when I'm solo with those fg's, and I might stop leeching from fg vs fg fights.
And a scout is gimped really. An sb fighting against a ranger will have a bitch of a time, and most likely lose. Same with an inf attacking a decent rr hunter.
But unless you played the class, kindly shut up Vodka. I'm not telling you how to play your ns either.

ehh i think he meant it with 3 merc's...
but tbh atm fg figths never happens..... tryed for 3+ hours yesterday to get fg vs fg but got zerg streamrolled over and over never 1 even numbered figth .... we tryed emain/odins/df ....
then group split up and i joined emain zerg where we .... streamrolled 1FG's .... bum ti bum... daoc is fun...
add on top of this the figths are never fair anyway....
class's/RR's or RA's up/down fuck it up anyway...

I play a solo nightshade, bladespec, with a moa0 and 35 nurt buffbot, it doesn't get much harder than that. I don't roll a scout to increase the number of fags on amg, I don't roll an infil to wtfpwn everyone, so stop talking crap :|On one side you're telling people what to do- and not do, and on the other side you're saying albs are allowed to add/zerg/whatever cause they can't compete if they don't. But that's utter bollocks
Look at alb/pryd :|edit- o and a solo bard too, thats also mucho fun with ppl like you dropping me out of speed at amg so your friends can finish me off

Hibs have their chanters, Mids have their savages (will still be good after their "nerf" which is no more than making sure that quads do not occur more than triple hits, etc).
So why not give Albs some usefull class that people will have to bitch about?
Just like Mythic should have given perma TS to all archer classes after suffering through a year of SH, Albion deserves to get some insanely uber class that will kill anything in its path really.
And before some noob like Jox comes along like he does on VGN boards and claims it is infs, they do not matter in rvr fg vs fg.
Only against the fg's that Jox is running.

I don't mind alb getting boosted a little bit, so that it becomes balanced (if that's even possible). But don't forget the minstrel is a very uber char in group vs group, sorc is great cc (alltho low hp and shitty armour), and before det was implemented friars were definitely very high on the foodchain looking at dmg dealers.

Det needs a nerf, and so does cc. Sorc is a very viable class imo? Just abit weak, but it doesn't matter when a sorc dies because CC length isn't based on ress illness. Since I have to lead groups and run around with an instrument I'm a whole lot easier to spot than sorcs... RF or not, I drop dead in no-time with an assist train on me. And don't forget the number of times some turd decides to hit an insta dd/stun/whatever to interrupt my castable mezz. Bard is a pretty shitty class, just that it has vital functions (end, speed, only long duration mezz).

I'm starting to think the strongest alb fg is
2 spirit caba, 1 body sorc, 1 mind sorc, 2 clerics, 1 mins, 1 pala.
Then I thought if only we could borrow some hib classes....
2 spirit caba, 2 body sorc, 2 druids, 1 bard, 1 warden. Now thats a bit stronger imo (6 pets ^^).
Then i thought hang on why not use all hib classes
2 chanter, 2 eld, 2 druids, 1 bard, 1 warden. Swap a chanter for a hero for more defence for slightly less offence and hey ho its the DH group. High melee defence (pbt - guard - pbae), good interupt tools (pets - TWF - Bard) and the best magic defense in the game (BAOD).
Albs have imo a nice caster duo (sorc/caba) like the hibs (chanter/eld) but they lack the support they also lack pbae, but then lifetap with debuff is pretty nice when moc is up

the reason albs make SHIT rps is because there is f'all to kill because /who emain = 130 albs. /who odin = 60 albs. And the god damn cg spams as soon as a FG enters emain, so there is 0 chance for a fg vs fg fight. It's all.
