I know its been out a while but i just started watching it and have watched the first 3 series in the last week....would advise others to aswell....has some great characters such as the agent Ari who i could only describe as a more aggressive Barney stinson :p

"stop being such a hippy, strap on a helmet and start firing! i want you to go to malibu and storm that beach like its F*ucking normandy!" :p

It's all about a girl, who digs a guy, with a big dick. It's a metaphor for big dicks.

About a guy trying (and reasonably succeeding) to make it big in Hollywood.

He's the actor and his two friends and brother (hence entourage) are there to help him or freeload. I found it quite fun to watch tbh, it's up to half way through the 4th season when the US writers' strike hit but more should be on the way soon. It has lots of really good cameos from famous bods, starting with mark Wahlberg who's also the director in the first episode.

It does mature in terms of storyline, but never properly grows up - definitely a blokes' show. I really enjoyed it and hope to continue to do so.

Should also point out the first season is only a half dozen episodes long and they're only 20 minutes each - so not a huge investment of time :)

Yeah that was a shame but a lot of US programs have to play it carefully until they get a studio deal, and they didn't get one until they produced that 8 episode series to show it had potential, even some sindicated ones didn't go any further than that such as Four Kings.

I'd stick through the first series due to what I said above, it does mature in it's storyline. Even if the level of maturity doesn't, which is a good thing for me!

Oh and Cerb, get people like Prodical and Jimmey the Police Fatman to say hello once in a while!! And Brian the Agrigo 'almost gay' to say hello. He might actually get in touch if he knew I said that about him, I still have the pictures to put on here on their trip here to see me.

Don't get me wrong, I like the short series/episodes - it means every episode is good all the way through - there's no filler like you get in so many Series these days <cough>Lost<cough>

I do see Howley every now and then via vent as I think he's still fannying about on Eve with Mark. Baby is due in 10 days, damn thing should just come out :twak:
