Surprised not one of you have mentioned this game. If you played Isac, it's basically the same premise.
You have three characters to choose from, each with different starting gear that and different end game story. You play through the Gungeon's different levels and try to clear bosses for Gungeon credits which you can use to buy new weapons that will spawn, upgrades and boosts for later games. You uncover new NPC's that will show up later to give you missions or sell items.
Highly addictive. Can recommend!
