Though is it just the British humour? I doubt it. When major disasters (or even minor ones) there's always sick jokes straight afterwards - and all too often even if we don't agree with them and laugh out loud we do chuckle (btw I tried to put the world 'sniger' with 2 g's as it should be spelt instead of 'chuckle' in here but FH wouldn't let me, good god PC gone crazy once again!), even if it's too ourselves (or at least I do, even though I know I shouldn't).

I wonder due to the timing of these jokes appearing immediately, whether it's a way of compensating and not having to think of how horrible it has been for someone and glad it's not us. Just a thought.

British humour is by far the funniest though

I think it's just the net pushing everything to the extreme because "normal" is boring, after spending some years on the net your sense of humour sort of adapts I guess - some of the more tame stuff just isn't fun anymore, it takes more to set you off.

Got one reflecting modern day British humour here.

Little Jimmy is playing with something in the road. The local vicar comes up and asks him "What's that you're playing with Jimmy?" Little Jimmy replies "It's sulphuric Acid." The vicar is shocked and says "You mustn't play with that son." He gasped "It's very dangerous" "Hey I don't tell you not to play with Holy Water" Jimmy says. "bit holy water is a good thing, the other day I put some on a pregnant woman and she passed a baby" "Well" Jimmy says "The other day I put some on my dogs balls and he passed a Subaru imprezza."

I thought british humour was Benny Hill's or Monty Python's....

That photo is just disgusting black humour. A common trend all over the world. Funny in ocassions nonetheless ;)
