woodgates injured again =((, he could have been one of worlds best if he could stay fit, and i agree the peps playin just dont seem like they really care that much. Hargreaves on the other hand looked like he would run till he coudent run anymore much like beckham when he was younger and still able to against Greece for example.

After seeing wat Martin O'neil is doin at villa who where tbh rather shit wish we had him now, personally dnt think Defoes gd enough he cnt even hold down a first team place at tottenham and cant see why Bent has not been given his chance. And on a controversial note - I still think Rooney is the most overhyped player in an Egnland shirt tbh - for a near enough 30mil player he doesnt do nearly enough - he doesnt score enough, doesnt set up enough, just does enough to make a decent highlight reel every couple of months ... in the same bracket compare him to Henry or Ronaldinho even - I would take either of them over Rooner (talking club level ofc unless someone can prove Ronaldinho's gran was Welsh which would be nice )

Rooney is the new Beckham - great for a highlight reel and nothing more - Le Tissier was better - at least he had shitloads of highlight moments

Problem with england is the players names are picking the team rather than the players form, mclarren was the wrong choice imo ok he axed beckham but theres players playing regular that are doing the side no favours and are actually dictating how we must play too accomadate them.

Missed the croatia game so cant really comment on it but as things stand our chances in 2008 are looking extremley slim.
