Ahh a disgruntled Swede who's team played worse than a Sunday League pub team and got knocked out of the Competition.

No that's doing enough to go through to the next round.

Cant say I know what disgrunted means...but naw Sweden got what they deserved apart from the most lol red card in world cup so far. Thats not really connected to this topic is it?

Gl England, but imo (and without the "omg dont touch my country" attitude that many has in here) that midfield with those worldclass players need to step it up if they want to make it pass next round.

As a neutral I gotta say that was the worst game of football in the World Cup so far. Both teams looked spectacularly inept at times, Ecuador looked like exactly the same team that Germany humped 3-0 and England looked worse than the team that drew 2-2 with Sweden. It was one of those games both teams deserved to go out so they can't inflict any more of their tedium on the rest of the world. The post-match analysis summed it up for me - first highlight was the goal, the second was Beckham throwing up.

Im thinking along the same lines

England have managed to somehow scrape through so far and have been pretty shite in comparison to most other teams who are progressing through.

^^ well that was sure neutral Bodhi, from your arse type of neutral

No way was that the worst game of football in the world cup so far, no idea where you got that from unless that was the only game you have watched?

England also performed much better than in any of the previous group games. They weren't brilliant but was definitely an improvment.

Well considering I'm neither English nor Ecuador, I'd say I was pretty neutral. You really shouldn;t believe everything the Sun, not all us Jocks want England to lose. Some of us don't really care either way - we just want to see some good games of footy. Yesterday's game wasn't one, it was less interesting than Mexico-Angola for god's sake. Two chances at each end and a jammy free kick do not a great game make I'm afraid.

Yeah, it was a shite game of football. Neither team really made it a game for neutrals to watch, and as an England supporter my throat was dry from shouting **** at the screen for 90 minutes.

Still another game minimum to show that all that individual talent can play attractive, attacking football.
