I think Beckham is slated too much for what he does off the park. Folk need to remember that he is a footballer and therefore is what he does on the park that matters.

Personally I think he is an excellent player (immature previously) but the decision to give him the skipper role was excellent.

Gave him the role of responsibility that he seems to flourish on
