If you could tell us:

a) Her favourite stone (if she has one, if not birthstone might be alright)

b) What precious metals she prefers - as in is she a yellow/white gold sort?, some just prefer silver but not many. Platinum is just about do-able for that money if it's simple. Even surgical steel is an option because it keeps lustre and let's you focus on the stone.

c) What styling does she like? Set stones or crowned stones etc.
