Any advice welcome here, I'm getting fairly close to Level 50 now and was wondering about final spec for my healer.

I'm currently thinking high pac approx 45 (for last Pow boost) or 48, as Pac 49 & 50 only seem to add one maybe two spells of debatable value for the points. with medium mend approx 30 or so gets me first spread heal as I understand it and little or no aug as shammys and the new strain of aug healers have that covered, as this an okay spec or have I missed something?

Also does the bonus from realm ranks add to spec lines granting extra spells or do they just function like item bonus's ie adding to the effect of your current abilitys but not granting extra abilitys?


Also could someone point me in the direction of a good SC Template for Hammer and Sheild for healer, as I'm only a casual player I dont really have time or urge to fund a whole suit of uber MP SC armour and will be quite happy with my epic armor, I'm think if I resists and adding con would help keeping me alive as I dont need procs or plus wpn skills or strength as in most situation if it comes me drawing weapons its gone horribily wrong already.

No extra spells via ranks, just adds a bit to the spells you know.

I would strongly suggest going high mend. Since this server is pretty crowded healers dont need aug for self fefence imo. No such fights where You go 1on1 with an enemy as a healer.

High pac is nice for the 300 radius on insta mes, and high pom.
The higher % insta heals plus second spread heal is very nice to have.

you cannot do 45/30, so either full pac w/o spread heal or smth like 38/30 or even 36/39 (you will miss insta ae stun but will get 2nd spread heal)
