I find myself attacking purple con tanks now.
-And winning or making them flee.
This will probably change in the higher levels with more resist gear and -spells in the game, but really....
Here's a few tips:
Even or lower con enemy:
1) Stick pet (yes, the annoying snarenuking one)
2) When pet is halfway through first cast, cast the stun
3) Kill
Red and above:
1) Stick pet (yes, still that pet)
2) Run a bit further so you have distance to the pet
3) Wait till enemy reacts on pet
4) Blast away, dont waste time on stun
Being pursued by speeder:
1) Turn camera 180
2) When pursuer gets in range, stick pet
3) Pursuer drops out of speed, you gain distance
4) Option:
Pursuer goes for pet =>stun/nuke till dead
Pursuer is red+=>run, you have plenty of time
Pursuer goes for you => let pet kill him
As the observant reader might have noticed, all of these tactics are based around the pet

orange+ skalds, cabas, air theurgs, minsts
yellow+ chanters
