Hi

I've recently been in Thidranki with my mana chanter. I'm just wondering what tactics people use for rvr/pvp as all I seem to do is use my light dd and whenever I try to use the pbaoe I just die ...

I can see them being very usefull in keep defence but out in the open I can't really see much use for them.

Would it not be better to go full light spec for pvp?

in 1v1 situations, pick a pure tank if possible, preferably a worrior because they're far worse than the others .

sick the nuker pet on 'im, when it snares him just run around in circles on speed buff and laugh a lot while he get's chain nuked and snared by the pet, then just nuke him a bit, run off on speed buff again, blow some kisses and things while he gets increasingly pissed off at the green con chanter toying with him then stop, wave goodby and nuke him straight back to Vasudheim

but (and this is the important thing) remember to stun him, you wont need to but hell it's gotta be done, have to keep people thinking about overpowered hibby mages afterall! we have an image to keep up!

oh, but then for comedy value remember that after you have totally and beyond all possible doubt, owned him in all sorts of ways, and once his corpse is cooling on the ground, manage to run into a huge purple aggro camp , it'll stop people thinking your TOO uber, because i dont want my hibby caster nerfed because were overpowered, ok?

without moc u are in the shit,depends situation though.
my pvp experience:
- u can kill a full group exping if u jump them while pull ( i did that few times to fins in cf,remember me one time where i killed a full group of 45+ ,their skald pulled fins, while he was pulling them, i jumped his groupe and killd them all in 4 sec,skald came back with 3 fins on his ass and found out his whole group was dead,only 1 lil luri standing and waiting for him (me), i stunned him and fins did most of the job ).
-one vs one u can most of opponents with mastery of concentration.
-u efficient vs stealthers cuze pbae,when they pa u, they right on u, so pbae did high dmg,last time i got jumped by the top rp stealther on andred, he gets pa in, i qc pbae and i did 1350 dmg to him ,oneshoot him ,although i died just 2 secs later from poison.If stealthers miss pa,they are in the deep shit,qc stun,run away from him,and pet chain cast snare to him.
-as a tactical bomb, i was always rushing in the first line ,enemy groups,run in the middle of them and with a lil luck u kill 5 or 6 of them,more if they are few groups
-etc,... i cant enumerate every situation and u will find out by yourself .

I love PBAoE Killed 19 people in two zergs battles near AMG today, bout 13 with PBAoE - just make sure a good healer got ya targeted before blasting away Btw I made it out alive in both battles - got ganked en masse later on but that's another story...

MoC is teh RA to get! Usually i run only loads of mezzed enemies and break mez like mad; coz either they have to scatter suffering abt 800 dmg each or they turn on me and either kill me or die

Oh well, that's what u get from not wanting to farm items for resistance (Pounced my avg resist up to 6,6% now tho). Nice to see how much my arse is worth in rp )

Well I'm give some get some I suppose, should've made some nice deathspams the last few days

Btw I'd like to add that I usually don't get 1shotted even by fire wizzes.... was it some lucky break or just my resist that sucks too much?

Gonna get avoidance of magic lvl 2 at some point
