Yeah, I borrowed my bro's GBA for a day and played it virtually non-stop.:D

Pretty decent stuff. Brings all those hours, days, indeed weeks of trying to improve my Time Trial times back.

I assume you meant you have the orginal?

NeorageX is the best emu I've come across (not literally) for neo geo stuff, KOF '99 just rox, wish they'd hurry up with 2000 dump.

On another note, anyone know of an emulator currently capable of running my all time fave coin-op (which I only ever saw in one arcade), 'The Cliffhanger Edward Randy'

The game truly 0wned, and on one site I see that the rom has been dumped, but nothing afaik supports it yet :(

btw mame roms to get : rabio lepus (rabbit punch US), wardner, any or all of the gradius bunch........ ahh soddit, I'll be here all day at this rate ;)

Wardner r0><0r3d !

I used to spend about 2 hours on the 2nd level building up gold so that when I finished the game I'd get a bonus of squillions :D

heh the 3 things i remember more than any from the arcade...

1. The only game girls played was Pac-Land and they knew EVERY secret in it.

2. The Japanese kid who could not be beat on Streetfighter 2

3. The feeling of excitement when your local arcade got a new game in, and the enormous pile of 10ps stacked up on it with people waiting to play :)

But why o why won't someone emulate cliffhanger?

Thanks Emb matey.

I have had positive feedback from members of another forum on them too.

I will order the GBA Linker once I get some dosh in. It's been a heavy month for buying Region 1 DVDs for me.
:)

Oh, BTW, does that thing work on PJ64 and your N64 pad then?

I think what Kurt is trying to say is:

Buy the Flashlinker with 128 Meg Rom from www.lik-sang.com for about £102 and you can use the internet to search for Roms of GBA games and download them to the Rom and play them on your GBA thus saving about £30 per Rom purchase.

Indeed, I think he is also thinking along the lines that such a purchase will mean that you need never purchase a GBA game again because of the ability to download and play them and that the outlay of £102 will more than be repaid by this purchase.

I think.

;)

In these times we should buy consumer goods like women in a shoe shop for the good of the economy :)
