Why is the bg2 always so empty???

I wonder the same thing. My conclussion is that many of the players on BG1 are alts to high level characters. They know the hard work it takes to level so they just quit after BG1.

BG3 is a little better.

BG1 is a breath of fresh air, and quite simply the reason why i have not quit this game.

i can level to 24 in the same time as i level my skald from 43 to 46

i get to choose new characters, try out all classes, and generally kick ass, alot of kills you dont get RP, lets say 2 or 3 days levelling and then a nice weeks worth of evenings fun on thidranki.

for people who work, or have other time constraints, Bg1 rules.
