Email problem

In outlook, if I leave my computer on for more then, say 2 hrs, I get this
error message in outlook express:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop.ntlworld.com',
Server: 'pop.ntlworld.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.btinternet.com', Server: 'mail.btinternet.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Yet when I reboot everything is fine.
Any ideas why?

I mean it must be sometrhing wrong in outlook, coz its a problem my end as restarting makes it fine

dont use outlook express m8, outlook 2k is the only way to go considering its soooooooo much more functional and customisable.

I've always used Outlook Express and other than being the most disfunctional, buggy, ambiguous program on my puter I think it's a superb application.

You wouldn't by any chance be using NTL's modem dialup access which disconnects you after two hours ???

It's all well and good saying Outlook is pants use something else, but without giving an alternative there's little point in saying so...

after a couple of virus's i downloaded the trial norton anit virus stuff.all went wrong till the 30 days thing ran out,then i got exactly the same messages,it just wouldnt let me access the e mail accounts.
paid the money ,downloaded whatever,no more problems.
if you have a trial norton thing on there,and its run out,either delete it or pay the money i guess.
